Easter Contest – GRIMME Marketplace 2026

§ 1 – Organizer

The organizer of the contest is GRIMME Landmaschinenfabrik SE & Co. KG, Hunteburger Straße 32, 49401 Damme, Germany (hereinafter “GRIMME”). Further information about GRIMME can be found at grimme.com/impressum

 

§ 2 – Participants and Eligibility Requirements

Only natural persons of legal age (at least 18 years old) with full legal capacity who are residents and have their habitual residence in one of the following countries are eligible to participate:

Germany (DE), Austria (AT), Switzerland (CH), the Netherlands (NL), Norway (NO), Sweden (SE), Denmark (DK), Finland (FI), Luxembourg (LU), or Liechtenstein (LI). 

Participation is free of charge and independent of the purchase of goods or services from GRIMME. Multiple entries are not permitted; only the first entry received will be considered. The participant is solely responsible for the accuracy of the information provided.

Valid participation also requires consent to these Terms and Conditions as well as to the publication of the participant’s name as described in § 8.

 

§ 3 – Participation

Participation in the contest takes place exclusively via GRIMME’s official social media channels (Facebook / Instagram / WhatsApp). To participate validly, the following steps are cumulatively required:

1. Visit the GRIMME Marketplace (marketplace.grimme.com).
2. Search for the three machines advertised in the contest post on the Marketplace using the filter and search functions.
3. Determine the serial numbers of all three machines.
4. Submit the three serial numbers exclusively via direct message (DM) to the official GRIMME channel through which the contest post was shared.

Sharing the contest post or tagging third parties is not a requirement for participation and is expressly prohibited under the platform guidelines of Facebook/Instagram. Such entries will be excluded.[CH3]

 

§ 4 – Exclusion from Participation

The following are excluded from participation:

• Persons whose information is not truthful or who do not meet the valid eligibility requirements under § 2,
• Employees of GRIMME Landmaschinenfabrik SE & Co. KG as well as its subsidiaries and affiliated companies, including their relatives (spouses/partners and persons living in the same household),
• Persons who manipulate or attempt to manipulate the entry process or the drawing through the use of automated mechanisms (bots), fake accounts, or other means,
• Persons who otherwise violate these Terms and Conditions or the platform guidelines of Facebook/Instagram.

 

The decisive point in time for determining whether the participation requirements are met is the time of the prize draw. Exclusion may also occur retroactively; in this case, a prize that has already been awarded may be reclaimed.

 

§ 5 – Entry Period

The contest begins with the publication of the contest post on GRIMME’s social media channels and ends on April 6, 2026, at 11:59 p.m. (CET). Messages received after the end of the entry period will no longer be considered.

 

§ 6 – Prizes

The following prizes will be raffled off among all valid entries received:

The vouchers can only be redeemed at GRIMME Premium Partners and are valid only for GRIMME Original Parts. Cash redemption of the prize is not possible. Prize claims are non-transferable and cannot be exchanged. Combination with other promotions or discounts is excluded.

 

There is no enforceable claim to the prize or the payment of its cash value. The winner is solely responsible for any tax consequences resulting from acceptance of the prize; GRIMME assumes no tax liabilities on behalf of the winner.

 

§ 7 – Winner Selection and Notification

Winners will be selected at random after the end of the entry period on April 7, 2026. A prerequisite for participation in the drawing is the complete and correct submission of the solution (serial numbers of all three machines).

 

GRIMME will notify the winners via direct message on the social media channel through which they entered (“Prize Notification”). The winner’s claim to the prize arises only if the winner confirms acceptance of the prize within the period specified below and provides their name and mailing address (“Prize Acceptance”):

• Acceptance period for the first draw: until Sunday, April 12, 2026.
• If the prize is not accepted within this period, the claim expires; a secondary drawing will be held on April 13, 2026, among the remaining valid participants. For secondary drawing winners, an acceptance period of 5 calendar days applies from the date the prize notification is sent.

 

The winners will also be published by name on GRIMME’s official social media channels. By participating, entrants agree to this publication of their name (for details, see § 8).

 

§ 8 – Personal Rights and Publication

The participant agrees that, in the event of a win, their name will be published on GRIMME’s official social media channels (Facebook, Instagram). This consent is voluntary; however, refusal excludes participation in the contest, as the announcement of the winners by name is an integral part of the contest’s conduct.

 

§ 9 – Data Protection

GRIMME processes participants’ personal data carefully and in accordance with legal requirements (GDPR, BDSG).

 

Data Collected and Purpose

The following data is processed exclusively for the purpose of conducting the contest (legal basis: Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR):

• Social media username (identification and communication during the contest),
• for winners additionally: first and last name as well as mailing address (for sending the voucher and publication of names in accordance with § 8).

 

Disclosure to third parties

Data will only be disclosed to third parties to the extent necessary for the administration of the contest (e.g., shipping service providers). Any further use of the data for marketing purposes (e.g., newsletters) will only occur with separate, explicit consent.

 

Retention period

The data of non-winning participants will be deleted no later than 4 weeks after the conclusion of the contest. The data of the winners will be deleted after the prize has been fully processed, provided that no legal retention obligations prevent this.

 

Data Subject Rights

In accordance with the GDPR, participants have the right to access, rectification, erasure, and restriction of processing, as well as the right to data portability and the right to object. Complaints may be submitted to the competent data protection authority. For inquiries, please contact:

§ 10 – Liability

GRIMME is liable only for intentional acts and gross negligence. This does not apply in the event of a negligent breach of a material contractual obligation (cardinal obligation), i.e., an obligation whose fulfillment is essential for the proper conduct of the contest and on whose compliance the participant may rely. In this case, liability for simple negligence is limited to the typically foreseeable damage. The limitation of liability does not apply to damages resulting from injury to life, limb, or health.

 

GRIMME is not liable for technical malfunctions, server outages, or other technical issues on the part of the social media platform or marketplace that prevent or impair participation.

 

§ 11 – Early Termination and Right to Make Changes

GRIMME reserves the right to terminate, extend, or modify the contest at any time without prior notice if, for technical or other reasons, proper execution cannot be guaranteed or the fairness of the contest appears to be compromised. Participants shall have no claims arising therefrom. Manipulation or unilateral changes to the contest rules by third parties are prohibited.

 

§ 12 – Disclaimer (Platform Notice)

This contest is not affiliated with Meta Platforms Inc. (Facebook, Instagram, WhatsApp) and is in no way sponsored, endorsed, or organized by Meta. Meta is not the organizer and is not the point of contact for this contest. All questions, comments, or complaints regarding the contest must be directed exclusively to GRIMME Landmaschinenfabrik SE & Co. KG.

 

§ 13 – Miscellaneous

These Terms and Conditions and the entire legal relationship between the participants and GRIMME are governed exclusively by the laws of the Federal Republic of Germany. Legal recourse is excluded; this does not apply to the assertion of mandatory statutory claims. Should individual provisions of these Terms and Conditions be or become invalid, the validity of the remaining provisions shall remain unaffected. The Terms and Conditions are written in German; this language version is authoritative.
