EVO 260 with interchangeable separator "ChangeSep"

In 2023, GRIMME received the DLG Silver Medal, one of the highest awards, for its ChangeSep interchangeable separator for two-row potato harvesters. At the touch of a button, it enables a quick change from finger belt separator (ClodSep) to scraper rollers (EasySep) – and vice versa – in the second separator. In practice, this means that all farms that have expanded their potato and onion cultivation can now adapt the machine even better to the required harvesting performance and crop protection.

GRIMME EVO 260: 2-row harvester with a new range of features.

For the 2026 harvest season, GRIMME is offering the ChangeSep as an option for the EVO 260 two-row bunker harvester, responding to increased interest from the market. Increasing specialisation combined with the expansion of farms often leads to an expansion of the range of crops grown from potatoes to other field vegetables (including onions, beetroot and celeriac) on a wide variety of soils. As a result, the requirements regarding the variability of options within the potato harvesters are growing.

The ChangeSep allows switching between finger belts (ClodSep) and scraper rollers (EasySep). The levelling adjustment of the first and second separator is still possible without restrictions.
In addition, the speed of both separators can be adjusted individually and continuously, allowing the machine to be adapted to the different conditions and crops at any time almost without compromise. The ChangeSep really shows off its strengths in regions where they switch between different crops and soil conditions every day. In combination with an intake module that can be used in different crops without changing anything (TerraControl with half diablo rollers and two support wheels), the operator can totally skip the time-consuming conversion work.
