GRIMME Landmaschinenfabrik, based in Damme, is expanding its product range in the field of vegetable harvesting technology with a trailed top lifter.
The NAVO 140 is a single-row top lifting harvester for carrots, parsnips and other vegetables, equipped with a 4-tonne bunker and, for the first time, with ISOBUS control.
The GRIMME NAVO 140 can be equipped with either a top-lifting-unit (see image) or with a main web intake.
"ModuChange" is the a quick-change system for the intake unit.
Carrots can be harvested gently until autumn using a top-lifting unit, but in winter the weak carrot tops require a main web harvester. "ModuChange" enables quick and easy replacement of the intake unit from a top lifter to a main web harvester or vice versa by just one person. The machine can be modified to suit different harvesting conditions within 30 minutes. The changeover can be carried out using standard front loaders or existing machines (e.g. a forklift truck) thanks to defined catch pockets with counterparts and integrated transport pockets.
Effortless modification of the intake unit thanks to simple hydraulic and electronic connection with a standard farm forklift.
Clearly arranged and easy to operate
The NAVO 140 is comfortable and intuitive to operate and comes with ISOBUS as standard. The GRIMME Digital Interface (GDI) provides the operator with an ideal overview of the machine parameters to be set. Both intake versions are fully integrated into the operating system with their own display. The corresponding symbols are automatically displayed for each intake unit. In addition, the machine can be equipped with the GRIMME video system, allowing important functions such as intake, cutting unit or bunker to be reliably monitored and adjusted from the cab.
