In the last five years, the GRIMME Group has created over 500 new jobs worldwide. The majority of these are at the German sites in Damme and Rieste. In the same period, turnover has increased by a total of 60 % and the demand for innovative machines is high worldwide - despite negative trends in mechanical engineering.
A new 15,000 square metre assembly plant for trailed harvesters will be built in Niedersachsenpark. A 1,700 square metre administration building with social rooms will be added. In addition to the significant increase in capacity, the ergonomic design of the assembly workstations will be a focal point. A dispatch centre with social rooms, offices, a washing area and recreation rooms for lorry drivers will be built in the immediate vicinity. A large dispatch centre is also being built in the immediate vicinity.
The global marketing of reconditioned used machines is becoming increasingly important. In order to meet the sharp rise in demand, a 3,200 m² used machinery centre with workshop and office space as well as spacious outdoor presentation areas is being built in Niedersachsenpark. Both buildings will be put into operation in 2025.
